Well today had been a pretty eventful day I suppose. Dropped by in school for a PACEsetter project meeting and then met up with Mr. Sim to talk about some events.
Met up with Aaron to get more NDP certs and caught a movie with him. Bridget Jones Diary was lovely! Ok, so the plot more or less continued from the first film, but it was really lovely. I was telling Aaron that it had to do with the fact that it is an English film, plus there is Hugh Grant, thus making it an even better film! =) What made the day better was bumping into Kelly, Vishal, Sean, KerYew and Sarah, al on seperate occasions throughout the day!
The HTB orientation took place yesterday, the students seem good so far. Got to meet the 2 new lecturers as well, Mr. Sim and Mr. Lee. Very nice people from first impression and nice to talk to as well. Somehow they prefer being called by their first names which is still rather awkward for me, but I shall try. =) 2 more days of orientation to go, I am quite looking forward to it but I sincerely hope that the students will have fun.
Had a chat with some people recently, and they helped me by pointing out things in me that I should perhaps change for the better. Thanks, and I will surely work on it. I have come across things that make me feel like sometimes, some people just inccur the wrath of others without really knowing it, or perhaps, they do. I know that I am so much stronger thn to be affected by such insignificant matters.
And yes, I wonder if he reads this but thanks to Dandelion for cheering me up with his poetic self!

Went out with Char Shao Bao today and boy did we have fun. Ok, firstly, what made it so fun was that it was the first time in months since we last went out, but also due to the fact that I was pretty much looking forward to this for quite a long time. =)
Watched The Incredibles, and I really loved it. I will like to watch it again because it is pretty funny and erm, we kind of missed the first few minutes while we were stuck in line for popcorn. Heh. Bumped into Joyce and Jason after the movie, and well off I went shopping! Met Yolyn at Zara where she was deciding on getting this bag she had been eyeing for for almost a week. (Mental reminder to myself to ask her if she got it at Salsa class.)
Ok, so I did not buy anything, but I sure did see many things that I would surely like to get my hands on. Now all I need is to find some kind soul who would be willing to part with some cash and be ever so generous and spoil me with gifts. Another simpler thing would be to just find a sugar daddy right? Hmmm, I think I better start looking.
Headed down to Junction 8 afterwards, had dinner and did more walking. I guess time really flew by and it was time to leave. As the shops were closing up we took our leave. With The Incredibles tumblers in hand and a nice bug bagful of Roc Candy in hand, I look forward to our next outing. =)
And oh, was watching ANTM and I must say, that Michael Gianni fella is rather charming, and have I mentioned that Nigel Barker is an absolute cutie? ( I have something for English men I think.) But the former reminds me vaguely of Sophian from Gamelan, La Salle. Maybe this is how Sophian will look like if he were Caucasian. Hmm..
Anyone would like to be my sugar daddy? Please send me all your resumes! =)

The smell of rain is wonderful. I do not think I can ever describe how much I love it. That earthy smell and musky smell combined is a pretty soothing concoction. How ideal it is to spend a rainy afternoon all curled up on a rug hugging a warm mug of rich hot chocolate with tiny marshmallows floating on top, with a good read and music playing in the background.
It has been raining almost everyday for the past week, with no exception for the time spent at Sentosa on Friday and Saturday. However, it rained almost continously throughout Friday and into the wee mornings of Saturday. This resulted in the cancellation of the PACEsetter Retreat. But prior to that, I was glad to have gotten a chance to know some of the juniors a little better and spend some time with them. Our group, Kaleidoscope was really fun to be with, and boy, all the laughter and jokes! Looking forward to knowing the other juniors better!
Left the chalet very early in the morning with Garuda and Lanka to try and do some IG stuff. But we were so tired we gave up halfway and snoozed on the monorail. =)
Woke up early today and have been in front of the computer for close to 4 hours already. Busy doing up paperwork for CCAs and also trying to get my files and folders all organised. Another new project to be done before the start of school, making that 4 projects to be done on my to-do list. There is still more to be done but those are already in the midst of completion. =)
Some things or matters for that matter have come to my attention and I am sad to say, unhappy about them. I wish that there were things I never knew or never noticed. It would surely make life a little simpler and more pleasant to get by. For instance, you may see flaws in people and blantantly comment about them or even address the matter to the person. But while trying to list all the faults of this individual, has it ever occured to you that you are also guilty of such behaviour/action and worse, even more? Sometimes, I hold back from saying much for many reasons; firstly I may be guilty of such behaviour and secondly, I know some people will not take well to such comments.
Put yourself in the shoes of the other person, get under their skin and walk around in it first before you say or do anything that will result in unhappiness. I have been in that position many times where I feel upset or hurt by what others say. Though they think it will help me be a better person, I question their actions. For who are they to do this, especially since they themselves are indiviuals who display such behaviours that many frown upon, but refuse to say anything in fear of angering him/her?
I do not know why there are so many people never seem to be happy with anything I do, and have alot to say about my behaviour and performances. But I can happily say that i try not to offend anyone and do my best in everything. For those of you 'perfect' creatures with nothing but criticism and a sharp tongue to add, here is what I have to say. Look in the mirror people, and see what a 'wonderful' individual you are, before you point out the faults of others.

It is strange that despite having nothing much to update I have been banging at the keyboard every night this few days.
Somehow I have realised that I have yet to get my leaving school certificate for my years spent at ACJC. And oh, how about the elusive CCA and CIP records that I will never ever seem to get because I never graduated? It saddens me because boy did I work like crazy to get my close to 100+ hours on CIP and the many things I did in debates. I really hope that there is a possibility to get them, I really think they will help with my quest in finding a good placement for internship.
Stasia is busy mugging for the papers in Sentosa. Yes, Sentosa. That lucky babe.
Meantime, I shall hope that despite everything that has to be done this holidays (whatever is left of it), I will be able to get other matters and chores finished.

Went out for a short while just to buy some shorts and some stuff for my brother to bring back to the hostel. Bumped into Millie and Gary at Suntec City. Headed to Junction 8 where I bumped into SerYin as well. All of these little surprises today just made it great! It is good to see some people that i have not kept in touch with for months, and in this case, even years! =)
Spent the rest of the day at home with the family and chomped down on a whole lot of brownies. Yum. ANTM is still a riot to watch, absolutely brilliant. When there are pretty girls, beautiful places and nice clothes, it is simply great. What makes it better though, is the cat fights and the bitchy things tht happen! =)
The rest of the week will be spent in school and at Sentosa. Oh yes, not forgettin dance class! Yipee! Looking forward to it!

Met Stasia today on an impromtu thingy. Headed to Raffles City and sat at Coffee Club, enjoying coffee and the mini 6ers. Funny how three small cookies and coffee made each of us so full! Did some window shopping and I saw some really beautiful tops that I could sure use for school next semester and oh yes, some nice shorts as well.
Dropped by Market Place to buy Japanese instant noodles. This holiday is the time to try all the funny noodles that the Japanese market. Pretty packaging and creative ways of sealing the boxes and pretty good taste. =)
Munching on my Kettle Chips right now. Nothing beats a nice big bag of chips and a nice mug of warm tea on a cold cold night.

Nothing much happened today I suppose. Picked my brother up from his hostel and we scooted off to Siglap for dinner.
Bumped into Liyan at The Cheesecake Cafe. =) Love the ambience and the interior of the place. And oh yes, the cheesecakes there are good too! Always a softie for the Peach with Jelly Cheesecake. Yum.
Char Shao Bao is coming back in four days, looking forward to that. Luther is having this dance competition at Suntec City tomorrow, wondering if I should drop by. Justin is showcasing his film tomorrow but I have some stuff on at the time. Was really looking forward to it though. Hmm... =(

The week has been pretty good I suppose. Went to Sentosa for PACE stuff and then dance class. Oh yes, not to forget going out with my son and having a great dinner and good talks. The only thing that I guess has dampened the whole thing would be my gastric that has decided to pay me a visit once again. This time, for close to a week already and it has cost me some sleep as well.
Met up with Joyce, Jason, Liyan and Stewart today for a movie and dinner. Met up woth everyone except the latter earlier in the day for lunch and some shopping. Ended up sitting at Secret Recipe trying to catch the Teens Model Search. Well, it started when we left for our movie but hey, at least I got to see Qi YuWu. =) Shark Tale was ok, nice animation but the storyline is a little weak. But enjoyable. Headed to Cafe Cartel so that we could watch The Champions and then to the foodcourt at the Meridien for dinner.
Met someone at Cafe Cartel, who spotted a "hot cutie" at our table. Well, do not really know what to say about Willie, except, hmm.. maybe I should meet up with him this holiday for coffee.
There is still so much to do this holiday, but so little time. Where did it all fly to? Therre are more books to read, more movies to catch, christmas to prepare for, dance to learn, room (mess) to clear. The list is endless! Carpe Diem!

I took a breath of fresh air, and looked around. Happy faces and a trail of laughter leads me to where the heart of the action is. It took me a while to realise that it has been such a long time since I last seen such a sight, and was able to soak it all in.
It has somehow hit me that things are not going to be how they have always been, and there is nothing else to do other then sit back and enjoy the ride. Ignorance is bliss, that is what many people say, maybe I have just brought it all upon myself.
I miss the way things were in the past, and I wish that I could have said it all without feeling any emotions right now. I wish that hings never got to where they are right now, for the thought of it makes me ache.
There is no wish to elaborate on this further. I rather keep this pretty much on my own and for once, very private. Sad though, that it kind of hit me when I am not prepared, when I thought that it is buried and done with. I do not want to go through it anymore...

Had a great time yesterday with the family, my cousin and her parents as well. Had dinner at the Cafe Cartel at Plaza Singapura and I do not think that I have seen so much food at on one table at the place before. =) We simply ate ourselves silly and to think that I was forced into helping my cousin finish her food. =/
Afterwards my cousin and I went walking around while waiting for the movie to start. Had a good chat and I guess she is right about some matters in my personal life. Princess Diary 2 is pretty good. Kind of like a chick-flick that is not taxing on the mind in any way. Enjoyable and light hearted. By the time the movie ended it was half past one in the morning. But what a good day it was!
Met Kyo today to go check out the different classes that some dance schools were holding. Went to one at Tanjong Pagar but sad enough, we could not see anything because the class was held in a room behind opaque walls. Headed down to YMCA later and checked out Salsa class by L.A Dance Connection. Looks fun, but then again I think that I will be more comfortable with Luther. =) Anybody interested in joining Salsa? Let me know!
Going down to Pasir Ris Park tomorrow. Will be there to support Trevor at the SCA Family Day. Hope that it will be good!

Went out with YiXiu yesterday. Caught De-Lovely again. Such a brilliant show, great songs, lovely costumes and not to mention very precious love. Makes one wonder how much one is willing to tolerate and do for the one you love. (ponders)
Had lunch at the foodcourt at Cineleisure and bumped into Lee Huan numerous times! =) spent the rest of the day walking around town and eating nice food at the Hokkaido Fair at Takashimaya.
Went for dance class and was taught new steps. (duh) Got to know the rest of the people in class, ok more or less majority of the people. It is a pretty small group of people, at the most 14-16 people i gather. And if I am not mistaken, I am most likely the youngest in the group. But everyone is more or less very friendly. =)
Spent the whole afternoon today settling and hopefully finishing on work for my CCAs. Pretty beat. There is still my own stuff to do, like finally confirm my schdule for the week ahead so that I can fit in other stuff, and to wrap a gift for my cousin's birthday dinner tomorrow.
Tired, but looking forward to tonight. Every Thursday I become a couch potato from 1900 - 2300hrs. I think I very much am getting fat but for once, heck.

Caught up with my cousin yesterday and went out for sushi and a nice movie. De-Lovely, finally I caught it and I could not have been any happier to have watched it. A really touching film, with beautiful music that simply touches the heart. Had tons of popcorn so now I have got two pretty Shark Tale buckets and a tumbler as well! =)
I went into a music store (not HMV) and on an impulse, bought this dvd. Firts time I have seen it in Singapore and it was the last copy, I simply had to have it! It is the unedited version of Love Actually! After purchasing it, I realised some things; firstly, it is a code 1 dvd so there is no possible way for it to work on my player. =( And also, it is in french and spanish. ery likely that there is english but well, knowing how horrible I am with modern technology... (fingers crossed).
Still have yet to catch Wimbledon and Maria Full Of Grace. The former can at least be caught when the movie comes out on vcd, but the latter is a must watch. And since it is screening at only three theattres now till tomorrow I think, I better make sure I do go catch it.
Notting Hill is back on the telly, never did watch it, absolutely love it! =) And oh, there is something else to look forward to tomorrow, dance class!

Debates at NKF on Saturday was erm.. interesting? Was not too bothered to listen to the debate but it was really good to see people like Stasia, Aidan and Teck Wee after a very long time. Got to also know Gaurav, who was nice enough to give Stasia and I a lift to United Square. =)
Had my only meal for the day at Baker's Inn, yummy flaky pizza and warm chocolate cake. Then after doin some window shopping and helping Stasia decide what she sould wear for the Halloween party at Zouk later on, we went over to Gaurav's place to check it out and see the many costumes and props that he has got! His place was done up in a simple manner but very nice, and boy does he take Halloween seriously! He is one of those multi-talend people who are great in school, at debates and he as gt his own dark room as well! Was almost dragged to go down to Zouk as well but thank goodness I managed to get out of it. (phew!) But thanks Stasia, for the rings from Bintan and France! Really pretty! I am such a happy girl right now!
Went down to Junction 8 yesterday, and got myself a pencil case and notebook from Muji! =) Walked around with daddy and realised that it has got so much restaurants there now! As usual, it was packed with people but it was nice to be in the midst of crowds, just window shopping with not much on the agenda.
Been trying to find a job, but I guess there are a few factors that I need to consider. Well firstly, with my brother in a hostel now, the weekends are really precious for me to spend with the family so that more or less rules out the weekends. Then, there are my other commitments. I really feel the need to do more for the DA this holidays, since I will be more or less out of the circuit again when school starts as everything clashes with one another. I promised myself to get quite abit done for the IG this holidays as well. There is also NDP stuff left to settle and PACE stuff as well. Hmm.. from the sounds of it, I doubt that I will be working at all this holidays. (again.) =(
Still have got some DA stuff to finish, and some PACE stuff as well. Need to check if Shiseido has gotten back to me. Will be meeting Brian later as I have managed to find him a racoon!
Oh yes, watched The Bachelorette last night and despite not being an avid fan of the show, I was cheering for Ian to be the guy Meredith chooses. Hah. Why? I do not know. Maybe because Ian is better looking than Matthew and Ian's the name of my first boyfriend. Haha.
I am nuts. (grins.)
