The days have past by in a blur, went for a field trip to the Transit area of Changi Airport's Terminal 2, attended the ALP session on Tuesday before going for the BOL briefing. Met Joyce and Jason today, had an express manicure and pedicure done, and headwed home to get ready for the Brian's Comissioning Ball.

The Comissioning Ball was held at Four Seasons Hotel. The food was pretty good I mut say. Prawn salad with citrus dressing served in a martini glass, chicken leek and thyme broth and pan seared cod with carrot puree, asparagus, mushrooms and roasted capsicums. Dessert was done buffet style; Vanilla Creme Brulee, Hazelnut Traline (I forgot how it is spelt), some sponge cake, fruit platter, and Four Seasons' own Guava Sorbet and Vanilla ice cream.

All in all the dinner was fun. Brian was great company to be with. Thanks bro, for picking me up, being such nice company, and walking me all the way to the cab stand! *hugz* Met Thanabalan there as well, who got Nat Beh as his date. Saw David Charles singing with Aaron Goh, and got to see Nat in a torn shirt, shaking his booty, and singing boyband songs! Woohoo! =)

Many things to do tomorrow, I do not feel like doing any to a certain extent. Everyone has already more or less found what they want to do for SIP. Me? I have not even done up my resume and letters. This is insane!

So let me see...

I am done with my mid semester papers since Wednesday.
Went for a sushi buffet with Michelle, Vanessa and Ailing at the airport on the very same day.
Did not attend Salsa class as I was feeling incredibly tired.
Met up with the AC peeps last night for dinner and tons more laughter.

Yup, I guess that more or less sums up the week for me.

S.T.U.M.P.E.D is going on now, as I am here furiously typing. Could not turn up as I am having a stupid asthma attack since last night. This woud be the first time I am missing out in an IG event since I entered the IG I suppose, and boy, does it feel horrible. =(

There is som Salsa class thin going on tomorrow at Xen Bar. If Lloyd is interested, I think I will tag along as well.

Tons of project stuff to do, oh let us not forget reading the thick training manual that I have to finish reading before friday. *yikes*

Bleah, I still wish I was out there running around, but darn this stupid asthma! =(

POM is done. Never was ready for it. Almost did not go for the paper.

Accounting is tomorrow. Should be going out with Michelle and Vanessa tomorrow. Should be seeing Mr. Yong as well, and oh, let us not forget dance class.

I do not know how many of you actually know this, but there is this peson in my life that I and many others do admire. But I guess that I admire and respect her even more than I ever thought I would.

She was one of the few who helped me to be where I am today. And it is because of her, that my interest in events management grew, and so much more. She helped give me confidence and directions when I was lost and overwhelmed by my own silly emotions.

Now I wish I could do something too. But I know better then to do that now. All I can do is pray, and that the Lord will be with here, and give her strength.

I guess it has become a norm, to be extremely busy with hardly any time to come up to the surface for a breath of fresh air. Fun was dining in Saffron, with lovely company and great food.

But never did I expect something so tragic to happen.

Nothing seems to matter now.

Not even the upcoming mid-semester papers.

I suppose that as usual, many things have happenined in the week that i have ceased to blog. The fact that we have been in school for more than a month now, and the mid semestral tests coming up is more than I can seem to accept.

Have been caught up in so many things. My commitment to my various CCAs, the projects and tutorials (at least the attempt to do so), and social gatherings. Went to Saffron for lunch with Joyce, Jason, Shaidah and Nelson. Had a pretty good time, and i sure am lookin forward to lunch this Thursday with Jas and Jovi. =)

Things have changed I suppose. Some changes will affect us greatly, and in no way are they within our control. I have learnt to accept the things that are thrown at me, and do my best. However, I fear that with the acceptance of changes, many things that once remained constant will change too.

This past week has been more of a rollercoaster ride than I ever thought it to be. So many decisions to make, so many things to do. The decisions that I have made, I will have to learn to stick with them.

I had an sms chat with a very dear friend of mine earlier today. And well, despite setting my mind at a certain decision, I doubt that I can stick by it. If the heart decides to stick to what it feels, there is almost no way of changing is there? Thank you my PTS, thank you for the chat, for the support and so much more.

The waiting game, is it not a lovely game to play? That is, if you know what is at stake, and are willing to risk it all. However, there is truth when you hear people say that there is joy in waiting. I agree, but only to a certain extent. Waiting is a skill indeed, and not many have mastered it.

The days are flying by and I am becomin more or less a scatter brain. If my French book is left in my locker, then I certainly do not recall placing it there in the first place. I guess I miss quite a number of people. And the irony of the statement would lie in the fact that some of the people I miss the most are the people I see everyday.

I would like to reach out to the ones I miss and reconnect with all of you. But then, there is this pile of work that I need to do. Some of which are backlogged, and some are rather pressing matters that I need to settle on a personal basis. Till then, if you do see me walking by, do say hi ok?

Meeting up with the JI babies have been great! From finding Sharon a boyfriend, to having a speed dating agency set up right at our table at Marche. It has been a while seeing some, like Elizabeth for example. It must have been 2-3 years ago since I last saw her! Still the same though, skinny as ever but so much more chatty!

The guys, Fredrick, Nicholas, Dylan, Jansen and Raymond seem more or less the same. But boys will be boys, talking mainly about army, university and girls! Scary but comforting, that I will have someone to depend on when I hit 24, if neither of us are seeing anyone at that point of time. =)

Someone surprised me with a really sweet gesture, I guess that being PTS for 4 years or so just makes things so much sweeter. Thank you for the treat sweets, and I shall try and meet you for prata I promise! Craving for some prata myself! *hugz*

Looking forward to Elizabeth's birthday party, where we will try and gather everyone to meet up and savour whatever precious time we all have together!

Perhaps it was wrong of me, to ask. With the intentions of trying to know someone better, I may have made him/her really upset. But in no way do I feel that I have done anything wrong. For once, I am calling for attention. If people keep complaining that things are not going their way but do nothing about it, then I rather you save us all some trouble and stop it. There are people who are trying to make things good for both parties, and these people do not mention a word about it. By driving these people to the wall, well, I say that you are just making it worse. For once these people with good intentions will lose their sanity one day and then, who will be there to listen? To care?

Oh well, it is not really the best way to start off the first week in school in 2005, but I have tried. No time to make resolutions. Hardly anymore time to catch up with friends. Time management is the order of the day, and in no way will I even allow it to snatch anything away from me now.

Is part of me willing to risk everything, for something I 'firmly' believe in? Yes. Tomorrow I will be digging my own grave but really, at the end of the day, does it matter to anyone?

Airline Business test was just screwed up. Maybe I am just not meant for TM. Accounting paper later. Still have yet to study. Freak. *screams loudly in my head*

The last few days have kind of been a blur. Having had dinner with Mr. Neo, a free lunch at Saffron, CCA and project meetings, lunch with some IG members and the gathering of friends for the countdown. The one week or so that just went by must be one of the busiest ever!

With the recent happenings, I was honestly not in the modd to have the celebrations of people screaming, fireworks and the works. Rather, I was in the mood for a quiet time with friends that I treasure, to reflect on 2004, set goals for 2005 and prepare myself for what seems like many changes and obstacles ahead of me. But I met up with my AC friends and we headed to CHIJMES. Honestly, I did not expect the noise and party, so I missed out on hearing the bells of Victoria Memorial Hall, and I do not think that I will ever have another chance to hear that in this lifetime.

But I suppose the company I had was wonderful. Char Shao Bao, Sunny, Shanli, Ben, Rhys and Jooteng were such wonderful company to be with and Mok met up with us later. From City Hall to the Esplanade area, to CHIJMES and then to Boat Quay. Bumped into many people from either ACJC or TP. I guess it is good to see many nice people again. =)

I have yet to touch the papers at all for this period of time. I just cannot seem to bring myself to read anything about the Tsunami. It is very depressing and all I can do is just pray that things will get better in time to come.

2005 is a year that has got alot in store for many of us. Time to look ahead and plan for the future, to treasure the friendships made and to never look back with any regrets.

Happy 2005 to all.
